Each year, in communities across the country, dynamic, passionate candidates engage in a spirited competition to earn The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s “Man & Woman of the Year” titles by raising funds for blood cancer research.
This year, the local chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society raised more than $472,000 and our very own Stephanie Ann Melish Neuman won 2014 Woman of the Year title by raising more than $32,000 individually! The night honored Audrey and Hamilton – two young children who have had to battle cancer way too young.
We are so proud of you, Stephanie, and so grateful to do our part to eradicate cancer!
