For many, if not most, of us, it’s in a comfortable space. Well-conditioned, well lit and a place you can relax and focus in.
If you stop and think about it, what do you do when you want to read? What if you want to meditate, think, write, relax, etc…? You”ll usually seek out a place that historically allowed you to perform well.
As individuals do, companies also perform well when all of the previously mentioned attributes are in place. An area to sit and work in peace and comfort, all the while knowing that many of the keenest minds in the HVAC – Mechanical – Automation world are just a few steps away. With that said, we are excited about the new home of AirTight FaciliTech, Inc. We will be moving in around the middle of October.
Why are we moving?
World-class is a delivery standard that we have all read about, usually in terms of “Customer Experiences”. Think hotels, air-lines, 1-800 phone support and any other thing that humans are involved with. It’s a measure that is pretty vague if you try to capture it on some survey or even write it. It must be experienced to be fully appreciated.
The flip side to that is a mental “World Class Experience”. You have all had one. Niagara Falls, Hoover Dam, your daughter’s wedding, the son that finally graduated… It’s that special place where all seems right in the world, even if for a brief moment, where nothing was askew. The unbridled feelings are, for many, overwhelming. Hence the tears of joy.
In this day and age of uncertainty, lay-offs, financial giddiness and slow growth on whatever money you have been able to squirrel away, it’s really great to see companies make investments in a building or office space that gives their employees the tools and environment to really “get stuff done”.
AirTight FaciliTech, as you probably know, has had a year of coming together, figuring it out, learning some really great techniques from one another and for sure, learned a thing or two not to do.
The goal for our version of “World Class Service” is to be able to “enable greatness from the inside out”. That starts with the most productive area for all of the 75+ people to be housed in and operate out of. If the teams are to be able to focus on your problems, challenges, needs and growth ideas, being in a new state-of-the-art facility is surely a great place to start that endeavor.
Both of the existing facilities offered great environments for the respective companies. Now that everyone is going to be sitting under one new roof, we can only eagerly anticipate the added energies the “just down the hall strength” can deliver.

• The AtFt employees, investing so that we build upon the 16+ years of committed service to the industry
• Investing in Charlotte. We are a Charlotte-based, regionally supported and nationally connected company. We can service you well just down the road and if need be, we have the horsepower to bring in one of sister companies, to assist in remote support through our parent Service Logic.
